Are we going to see a jump in ticket prices soon...??

Its that time of year again... and with the new DCA attractions and its new hours do you think we'll see a price increase on tickets before it all opens up? I think yes! I'm just taking a swing but I think the single day park tickets will probably end up in the $85-$90 range and the single day hopper ticket up to maybe $115. It's quite a big jump but I wouldn't surprise me since we're getting more attractions and more hours to experience everything! what do you think?

So in other words I should probably purchase my park hopper tickets (the ones good till the end of December) for my September trip now?

I hope not ! it's becomming such a high ticket item that many people can't afford it. I just wish everyone could enjoy the magic that Disney has to offer and feel as excited about it as we all are.

    (ok serious sappy moment over)

But I am glad I have my pass already so it prices do jump, I am not effected! ha

For me yeah it does get "crowded" but I rather see more people enjoying the park...then making it a par for "richer" people.....just have fair ticket prices don't jump them since really what DCA got int he last few years...should have been there when the park opened

$90 for one day!?!?! WTC!!!! That's, what, a fifteen dollar jump!? If they inch the price up to eighty, that's one thing, but 90? 90!?!?!?! It's high enough as is! When they will increase their prices, hopefully it'll only be for a few dollars.

I would expect an increase in the next month. I'm guessing one day goes from $80 to $86 and one day hopper goes from $105 to $112. I really wonder what the annual passes will do. I think they need to put more difference between deluxe and premium (unfortunately for me in the long run, but luckily for now, I just renewed).

Doesn't the Internet usually report the price increase a few days before it occurs? Or was that just for annual passes?

They won't increase until at least June 15th. I believe the last increase coincide around the 3rd as well.

I think 1990 had no increase. Though since a couple years had two increases.

Yes it will be released to travel agents and other ticket vendors first and information will spread from there.

I suspect it will be about $5 more for tickets and APs could shift a lot of little depending on type if they want to use AP holders to effect attendance patterns. I imagine this will come in late Spring before June 15th.

I thought there were a few years where it was an increase twice in one year.
