Have they fixed Innoventions or Alladin?

I'm not normally one for creating the question threads but my summer trip will be around soon enough and I was curious about these areas.

Will they fix the flying carpet before the big summer season hits with the launch of Carsland?

And is Tom Marrow perminantly gone from Innoventions? Do you still enter it funny? is Asimo still in the building?

I asked a CM where Mr. Morrow was and when he would return and the answer was that he was on the east coast and may not come back. You still have to enter on the 2nd level and Asimo is still there. The only thing that's changed recently I noticed was the addition of Kinect video games and an area for looking at things with microscopes by the Asimo theater.
    Hope that helps!

Sorry, don't know anything about the flying carpet.

Its hard to say anything about the carpet. Its a first generation riley rigging system which is considered "out-dated" sort of. It was supposed to be upgraded when the Aladdin show was ending, but they ended up bringing it back. So the upgrade will probably happen when they close Aladdin unless they have the time and the budget for it soon. To operate the system is somewhat easy, the carpet flips when one of the four motors is out of sync with the rest.

Re: Have they fixed Innoventions or Alladin?

sounds dissapointing. I love Aladdin and it'd be a shame to see no carpet in the summer when the rest of the park is supposed to be all sparkling new.

Innoventions sounds like its even more certain to not be operating. I can't imagine Tom Morrow being in Florida though. Florida ought to have their own spare left over from Timekeeper and most animatronic work isn't done in Florida it's all handled in California.

Maybe I'll hope that the declining quality of Innoventions is just a further sign that it will be removed soon. Letting it run so long with its entrance compromised is pretty disgraceful yo, not like there's much to it anyways.

How about putting Tom Marrow and his girlfriend up on the flying carpet? If it malfunctioned no one would get killed.

Oops! I guess the audience on the ground under them would have to be robots too for it to be really safe. Never mind.

My question (though I'd love to see Innoventions gone)

And you enter Innoventions through the second floor now (shows you how much I visit that area).
    Does it still rotate?

Although I really enjoy watching CoP in WDW, I don't want it back. The show is so far from what it once was, it doesn't have the same feel that the original seemed to have. It's still fun but I have a feeling Disney wants an audience MUCH bigger than Innoventions and really CoP is not that much more popular. Although I'm not fully sold on the idea, I think we will get Stark Expo with a show on the rotating section and some kind of interactive elements on the upper floor.
