Where's A Good Place To Take A Break Inside Disneyland?

You know, you've taken in hours of Disneyland entertainment, you want to kick back and relax while you enjoy a Dole Whip and/or a... "I'm talking to someone important on the phone so I can't be bothered" phone call.

So where inside Disneyland is a good place to relax? What's your favorite spot? Favorite escape inside a building to get away from the heat.

Photos of you in your spot would be helpful.

The Disney Gallery is always a quiet place to sit, as well as the Opera House Lobby.



You could also sit on the back patio of Pizza Port. It's not exactly indoors, but it is air conditioned.

Go on Tom Sawyer's Island and sit at the lunch tables across from the Mark Twain/Columbia station. It's nice to hang out in the sun. There are also some rocks near Fort Wilderness and benches around the island to relax. Ignore the kids running around

There are benches next to the Mark Twain station. You get a view of New Orleans Square from there.

I second the Tom Sawyer's Island idea. There is nothing like sitting under a tree and just relaxing and taking a break.

World of Color viewing area during the day
Shows (Mr. Lincoln, Tiki, Captain EO, Jedi Training, Muppets - if not using your phone)

ORGOCH: I'm always able ta find a nice bush ta go under--mostly off a Tom Sawdust Island an' when all the out houses is crowded. Wait a minute. What kind a break is we talkin' 'bout, here? Coffee breaks? Smokin' breaks? bathroom breaks?

^Believe it or not, Innoventions is my Disneyland "break pad". I will be more than happy to see it go (judging from the now seemingly permanent stasis of backwards/broken operation, it's on its way out), but for now it's air-conditioned and I usually find some silly exhibit to play around with.

They probably still do the Asimo show don't they? Haven't seen it in ages... probably since when the 50th anniversary was going on yikes!
