    Change to Costume Policy (adults)??

Can anyone here comment on the Disneyland costume policy with regards to adult guests? Last year (May-Oct) I worked on putting together my Capt Jack costume. During that adventure I frequented a couple of the more popular POTC and Capt Jack costuming forums. Until about a week ago, it was common knowledge that an adult cannot go in costume (unless it's Halloween time). I was reading a couple posts from the same person on a couple forums that he went in his Capt Jack costume and he was not hassled. In fact he said spoke with a couple of security guards and they said that it was now allowed for adults to come in costume.

Not that I'm calling the guy a liar or anything, but does anyone here know of a change in the rules? I just find it hard to believe that anyone (adult) could come in a Disney character costume. The caveat that he had was that all the other rules still applied...no posing for pictures (yeah right..everyone has a camera now) and that you could not sign autographs.

Anyone here on the inside know anything about this?

The Disneyladn FAQ still lists costumes as prohibited for adults.
Theme Parks | FAQ | Disneyland Resort
Costumes on Guests older than age 9, except during special events that permit children up to age 12 to wear costumes
