Those were very delicious onion rings. Some of the best I've had. The sweet potato fries were yummy too. I had just cooked some Ore Ida ones at home just a few weeks before and they didn't have much flavor. The ones at DL were such a wonderful contrast to them. The Fries Green Tomato sandwich was also very yummy. I really liked the slaw on it. Lots of flavor.

My son and I had breakfast at Flo's Wednesday morning. He had the waffles and I had the french toast. We both enjoyed our meals.

Over the weekend my friends and I made our first to the Carthay Circle Restaurant. For dessert I ordered the one others have posted earlier in this thread. Ok, I get it now! It's AMAZING!! 8)

The thick slab of butter that comes with the bread basket and my Brown Derby, a bourbon, grapefruit juice and honey cocktail.

Could not resist the odd ball ingredient of a sunny side up fried egg in the Korean Pulled Pork Sandwich. It was tasty tho' with a strong pickled flavor that might be too strong for some.

Pork sandwich looks good, is that kimchi on the plate, is that where the pickling was coming from?

^Yep, that is kimchi on the plate. But I didn't put that in the sandwich. The restaurant has homemade pickles that I know was inside my sandwich. I didn't notice anything else, I was too busy making sure to keep the yolk from dripping off of it.
