Which do you enjoy more? I honestly have to say i love the way WDW opens the park everyday. Now ive been in CA for less then a year and working for the company for 6 months know so maybe they did it differently years ago.

Cultural thing. Once again it's the fact that Disneyland is a "locals park". Most people going to MK are on a leisurely vacation and so such a show is a nice touch.
Disneyland on the other hand is mostly locals who want nothing better to do than hit the rides as fast as possible. I don't think they'd have the patience for this type of thing. Whereas I personally like this show IMO I think most DL park guests would find it to be somewhat of a nuisance than something to enjoy.
I certainly think WDW does it right. Listening to that speech well doesn't do "it" for me
I can't imagine performing in this every day...but I gotta say it does add that extra bit of fun in the morning. It feels too cheesy, even for Disney, but I'd love for a small celebration at DLR.
I didn't know WDW did that opening show. It was cool, but I imagine after the first time it would be pretty annoying.

It's a fine thing for WDW, which is very big and touristy and filled with mostly first time, once in a lifetime, or infrequent visitors. DL is not that.

Anyway... found this DL opening, I suppose it doesn't have the same spectacle, but I love being able to wait on Main Street and feed off the energy of all the people waiting for the rope drop!
That WDW show was just obnoxious to me
