I wish they would have done something that matched the ambiance of BVS. I would have loved period music and costumes. And for me, that will effectively take me out of the image of the 1930's they are working so hard to create on BVS. Imagine going by on the red trolley and hearing lady Gaga or techno dance music blaring close by.

This is shaping up to be ....... one of dumbest ideas Disney imagineers ever came up with. Can it be a more embarrassing spectacle?

Mad T Party is not being done by Imagineering. It's the Disneyland Entertainment; the same group that did elecTRONica.

Fron everything I have heard, MTP is taking the things that made GlowFest and elecTRONica popular and combining them into the Studios area. I wouldn't write it off just yet.

    Maybe I missed it
but there was no list of songs.
Mad Hatter has put together a list of songs – from Bruno Mars to the Beatles … from Maroon 5 to Prince … and from Gwen Stefani to Lady Gaga!
    Can we get anymore vague?

Here is a link to the MAd T Party Audition discussion:
    Mad-T-party audition

This is the list of songs from the Audition...

    Posted by HatandMouse

"I also reserve judgement until I experience it. However, the list of songs on the audition call makes it sound like it will just be a bad cover band.

I Gotta Feelin’ (Black Eyed Peas)
    Sir Duke (Stevie Wonder)
    Don’t Stop Believin’ (Journey)
    Shout (The Isley Brothers)
    Hot Hot Hot (Buster Poindexter)
    We Will Rock You (Queen)
Please Don’t Stop The Music (Rhianna)
    Locomotion (Little Eva)
    Call Me (Blondie)
    Get The Party Started (Pink)
    Dancing Queen (ABBA)
    American Woman (Lenny Kravitz)

Blech, I think I would prefer the live DJs. I hope they still have some around. I also have no idea what that selection of music has to do with Alice In Wonderland, but again, I will wait to see it before I cry out how awful it is. "

Maroon 5? Really? Gah, I'm going to have to avoid this like the plague. Bring back the trance/dance music!

the band idea makes me cringe :/ im the one who walks through the tomorrowland terrace cover bands rather than listening, but just the DJ alone would have made me more excited. idk, we'll see...

I still can't get over the name "Mad T Party"... they should do a little more research before putting that up in a family park. If you know what I'm talking about you know how wrong it is now.

We Will Rock You? Surely I'm Going Slightly Mad would be a better choice. Of course, seems to be a rule of thumb that there are only three Queen songs according to a lot of mainstream media.

Gotta love the 1,2, & 3 completely short responses.

"Bruno Mars to the Beatles" you know that does leave a whole lot of music for the option. Tell us first 3 posters what could you propose as more suited for this?

Not this again, that is a myth. Just the fact that it's brought up is made to stir up some controversy with no basis. If you really wanna go that route, anything as simple as Ice Cream can refer to a drug. Seriously this is a ridiculous argument.

Imagineering or Entertainment doesn't matter. If this one goes belly up, someone has to take a walk....
