Wow. I wonder what was put up by auction? Any originals of his artwork, scripts from the Tomorrowland series? Train models?

As far as I could see on fine living channel show about it,everything was sold. His widow said Ward wanted individuals to enjoy owning the pieces.Guess he didn't want his collection under glass

I believe Carolwood Pacific Historical Society acquired some pieces, including the fireman's hat that Ward used to wear, while playing in the "Firehouse Five Plus 2" Dixieland band.

Yes, that fireman's hat is on display in Walt's Barn, in Griffith Park (open for free the third Sunday of every month).

No clue there was an auction... sure I couldn't have afforded anything anyway
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
