If this means less people in the Parks, I'm happy to pay more money.

I am shocked that PAP is up $150. I know that AP have a good deal as ticket prices are to high. Doesnt mean DH & I will be renewing. So sad, been an APer since the start of AP.

Highly unlikely we will be renewing our passes when they expire in September. With 4 of us and regular life taking up more time nowdays, we just don't get to the park as much anyways. Might be good to take another year off like we did a couple of years ago. Plus we're saving up for a WDW trip in 2015.

This shouldn't suprise anyone... Disney is expecting DCA to finally be it's true companion park.. and prices will reflect that.

Uhh.. and what exactly has been happening over there in DCA for the last few years??

I welcome this change. Hopefully it's a sign that Disney isn't going to keep giving away it's product. Hopefully Disney will introduce some sort of 'bulk buying' for people who want to go so often but don't want to pay for a 'all you can eat' type of pass.

If you need to budget to afford an annual pass to a theme park, you really should be focusing on more critical financial needs like retirement, emergency savings, etc. Purely discretionary entetainment spend should be after everything else is covered. That's why things like pay per month plans are so sad.

Ouch...$500 was do-able before, but $650 is a bit excessive if you ask me. Does anyone know if this is a precursor to ticket prices at WDW?

Has anyone bought an AP voucher very recently? I want to make sure the expiration date is still Dec. 31 before I go and buy them.

Here's my really big issue... WDW Premium AP has access 5 parks 2 water parks, Disney quest, Golf, parking, discounts, ESPN world Wide of sports for $690. We have 2 parks and parking and discounts and we will be paying $40 less! This is ridiculous!! Whats even worse is if you are a FL resident the Premium AP is only $540 so less than a CA Premium AP. We don't get that luxury as a CA AP!! DISNEYLAND FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!

My pass expires July 21st. I called to see about renewing and was told it was too early but that current pass holders could renew online prior to July 1st under the old price.

This insane, they just shot themselves in the foot. Maybe leap year night scared them? At what price does the crossover occur to where they lose business instead of trying to recoup cost of expansion? This will certainly be it, you cannot increase by 30%+ inflation right now and be successful.

"MousePlanet is reporting that the Premier pass, which gives a guest access to all domestic parks, is increasing to $849 and the 6-day tickets will no longer be available [at] the Disneyland Resort."

It's a lot of money... And a visit to Disneyland is just that much less possible for so many families. I think a price increase was expected and really, well-earned. The resort is quite a bit better for all the changes in store. But I'd hoped that those in power would at least try their best to contain it while the economy is struggling still... And maybe this is them containing it!
