Part III
I need to apologize for taking so long to get to these shots. Some of these go back to February and I'm just now getting around to posting them. I also picked up a Nikon D800 and a new lens last month and I've been spending much of my photography time getting used to the different layout, etc, so I just haven't had the time to sit down and sift through my shots from last Spring until now.
This next batch is mainly from last Spring, but a few are from this Summer. On we go....

Wow. I have always been a fan of your photography, so every time a new thread comes about I am in awe all over again. One of my favorite things about MiceChat is the amount of talented photographers that share their photos with us. It really makes you feel like you're there!
Now you have me wanting it to rain at the park!
Great stuff!

Thanks Chris! Please let us know when you are in the parks! I've really been enjoying your shots in the Photo Sharing Thread.
Thanks RW!
Thanks Skoolpsyk. And no worries. If there is one thing I've learned about photography over the past few years it's that we all have different opinions as to what we like or don't like about a photograph. Some people really enjoy "processed" photos and others like them straight out of the camera. Still others, even today, shoot on film as they feel digital can't deliver the "warmth" that film once did, etc. Personally, I continue to be a fan of Trey Ratcliff, and just recently I was introduced to the photography of Gavin Seim (Seim Studios | Wenatchee, Moses Lake, Chelan. Wedding Photography, Portraits, Fine Art, Education). Some people will find both of these photographers' posted shots to be over saturated and over processed, etc, but this is a style that I am currently drawn to. Having said that, I don't use HDR on every photograph and find myself constantly trying new ideas between Nik Efex, Lightroom, and Photoshop. I think there needs to be a balance when it comes to processing my photos, but that line is constantly moving and I think it will continue to move a bit until I settle on what is truly my "style", if there is one. I think it's also apparent, if one were to check out my main flickr account, that my interest has shifted somewhat over the past couple of years. Three years ago, I would have said that I was a Disney photographer who shoots landscapes every once in a while. Today, I would say that I'm a Landscape Photographer who shoots Disney. It's a subtle change, but one that I think is significant.
Thanks Apples4Disney!
Thanks Mom Kissed Walt!
Thanks Exploding Boy!I completely agree about the rain, and it's one of the reasons that I have dropped everything and headed to the park last year when it rained. I think we've had one brief shower since April, so obviously I'm going through withdrawals right about now.
More shots on the way soon...
