    RSR in the Rain

It's very dark and supposed to rain up here in NorCal today. Which leads to the question, will Radiator Springs Racers run in a steady rain for those brave or crazy enough to do it or does the ride get shut down?

I know Test Track stays open unless it's pouring out.

    Re: RSR in the Rain

Test Track closes due to lightning or heavy rain, I'm assuming RSR will operate the same way. So probably won't ever be riding it if it's actually pouring out as it wouldn't be operating.

It should be fine. Most rides built today have extra safety measures to make sure they can run in the rain.

I have been on test track when it's pouring but obviously there must be a higher level than what I experienced plus there was no lightning when I was on it.

    Re: RSR in the Rain

Lightening will close it down. With rain, it depends on how hard it's coming down. It hurts riding at 60+ MPH with large rain drops hitting you in the face. Since RSR goes 40, I bet they won't be as hard on requirements when it rains.

All three Cars Land attractions are open air and uncovered. If it rains, head over to Disneyland.

It rained during one of LFT's first days of CM testing. Someone I know said it wasn't pleasant since the water was coming from above and below.

    Or the GCH lobby.

We got caught in that weird thunderstorm right after Easter. Toon Town. Place filled up with 2 feet of water in the quickest flash flood I have ever seen.

My husband sitting in a comfy chair in the GCH lobby was way more comfortable than me.

OMG I remember being there when that happened. I got off of California Screamin right before it starting pouring with lightning
