This is me, but the only card purchases I use are for Netflix and when I had a pass. I always carry cash on me.

Don't forget the wishing wells...
I don't ever carry cash. Period. The only thing in life that I still pay for with cash is a haircut, and that is getting less frequent since even barber shops have started taking cards! HALLELUJAH!! In my life, cash is used to pay bills and ONLY bills.
And PS- I'm not hating on the cash carriers, so don't hate on me for my preference to use plastic.![]()
It's actually "Cars Land", not "Carsland".
Same here. We ordered at White Water about five minutes before the noon-ish system outage on Sunday, and the CMs were suggesting guests go to DTD. One of the managers/suits and a bunch of supervisors kept huddling in the office and then scurrying back to the terminals until the registers were back online.
Absolutely correct about having cash on hand, except... what about places that only take cards and NOT cash (and yes, that was mostly sarcasm)?!?!?
Sometimes you have to keep track of the balances on those.
For instance, if you have $20 on it, but you're trying to spend $25, it doesn't know to deduct $20. It will decline it. Sometimes you have to keep the balance written on the front with a Sharpie so you can tell the exact amount that needs to be put on the card.
