Attraction description:

Board a trailer pulled by a cute baby tractor and swing in time to lively music sung by Mater.

Attraction Stats

Attraction storyline: Mater has corralled a herd of runaway baby tractors in his junkyard. Guests are invited to an old-fashioned “tow-si-do” in Mater’s salvage yard as they ride trailers hitched to the baby tractors.

Ride Duration: Approximately 1 minute, 30 seconds

Minimum Height Requirement: 32 inches

Disney's FASTPASS: Not available

Ride Vehicles: 22 baby tractors, all with different markings and eye colors. Can accommodate up to 2 adults and 1 child.

Music: Larry the Cable Guy, the voice of Mater, recorded seven original songs for the attraction, backed by Disneyland favorites Billy Hill and the Hillbillies. The songs play during the attraction on Mater's jukebox made out of discarded oil drums, hubcaps, hoods, horns, mufflers and other assorted auto parts.

Tips: While a fun attraction, it may not be worth a long wait in queue for you. Take a look at the estimated wait time before entering the queue.

Just rode Tow Maters for the first time. Zippy and fun! We didn't even wait 5 minutes, which always improves opinion. I'd wait 10 to 15 minutes.

Really enjoyed it. Similar to Ladybug Boogie but better.

We had a great time. We were shocked to have esentially, I walk-on during previews. Super fun for ALL AGES.

TIP: As someone who gets motion sickness, Francis' Ladybug Boogie is the ride that gets me motion sick the most. Ladybug benched me for a whole afternoon once. This ride, Tow Mater's, because of how the ride vehicle works, did not make me motion sick AT ALL. The spinning sensation is really toned down by the swinging of the trailers.

I gotta say I enjoyed Mater's Junkyard Jamboree A LOT more than I thought I would. What does it is the music and Larry the Cable Guy's likable character voice singing goofy music.

LOVED this attraction! Man does it pack a punch! The music is fun and catchy; very Country Bear-esque. The theming is great and the ride is really a fun experience. Quite thrilling!

Much more fun than I thought it would be. We heard the song in which Larry the Cable Guy forgot the words, and kept repeating "sumthin, sumthin, sumthin", and really cracked up when he was giving the standard "don't forget to check for your belongings" spiel, and made believe he forgot the words to that, too. Very cute to leave the original mistake and then add a play on it after the ride stopped.

The ride, itself was more engaging and upbeat than I expected. I felt like the mechanism shook the cars and wasn't very refined. Maybe that's what getting drug around by a tractor is supposed to feel like, but . . . The hand-off between the turntables was a surprise, and very clever. I think it will be fun for kids and teens, but I'll only do it again if it's a very short wait in line.

Jamboree's soundtrack is awesome and enhances the ride experience even further. The best thing to me is that the vehicles don't just swing around in a uniform way but instead they leave you wondering when you'll be whipped around to almost ninety degrees of the tractor. It's no Whirlpool (retired Knott's ride) but it gits er dunn.

This would probably be on the level of something like the Teacups for me. Definitely fun, but not something I'd wait more than 15 minutes for. I'm not a big Larry the Cable Guy or Mater fan, but I'll admit the song got stuck in my head.

Great little ride. The Mater soundtrack and jokes do add to the appeal. While waiting in the queue, listen to what Mater says when folks get on and off the ride. You'll get a chuckle here and there.

Good ride for the little ones and those ones that are a kid at heart. Solid addition to the land with great theming.

Good little ride but the seats need padding. The hard plastic is hard on the back and it feels like your riding on studded tires, its kind of rough

If you lean into your turns you can really get them whipping. I'm not a Larry the Cable Guy fan so I thought the music would drive me insane. I didn't even notice it I was too busy laughing with friends as we whipped from side to side.
