Flo's V8 Cafe
Cruise on in to Flo's V8 Cafe and fill up your tank on classic American cuisine with a new spin.

Restaurant storyline: Flo’s V8 Cafe is inspired by timeless roadside diners and boasts “the finest fuel in the 50 states.” To cater to the growing number of Route 66 visitors and race fans coming to Radiator Springs, Flo expanded her place by adding a “showroom” dining area, the story goes.

Service: Quick-service.

Dining Area: 300 indoor/outdoor seats.

American Breakfast - $7.99
Scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon and a biscuit

Chicken Tamale Breakfast - $7.99
Chicken tamale, scrambled eggs, salsa verde and pico de gallo

Roasted vegetables, cauliflour, bulger wheat, soy crumbles and smashed red potatoes. Topped with cheddar cheese and served with one side.

Cozy Cone Motel
Pull into one of five Cozy Cones, each offering a tasty cone-themed treats.

Restaurant storyline: Inspired by the quirky “wigwam” motels along Route 66; the Cozy Cone Motel features five teepees, each offering tasty cone-themed treats.

Service: Quick-service.

Dining Area: Limited outdoor seating.

Menu:

Cone Number 1
Churro bites with cinnamon-chocolate sauce
Cinnamon-spiced hot cocoa
Ramone’s Pear of Dice Soda made with dessert pear flavor, mojito flavor and Sprite.

Cone Number 2
Soft-serve ice cream cones
“Route” beer floats.

Cone Number 3
Savory bites all served in edible bread cones:
Bacon-scrambled egg cone (breakfast)
Chicken verde (lunch and dinner)
Chili “cone” queso (lunch and dinner)

Cone Number 4
Pretzel bites with cheesy sauce
Red’s Apple Freeze, a fat-free, frozen concoction with apple juice, toasted marshmallow syrup and passion fruit-mango foam.

Cone Number 5
Two flavored popcorns daily, such as dill pickle and sweet & spicy

Fillmore's Taste-In
Fruit stand featuring whole and cut fruits, bottled water, juices, and soft drinks

Restaurant storyline: Home to resident hippie, Fillmore, where “natural fuels” are on the shelves in his tie-dyed geodesic dome.

Service: Grab-and-go / Outdoor vending

Dining Area: No seating.

Ok Flo's not too bad of prices...was going to say 11 bucks for that? But then I saw it comes with 2 sides of your course, makes more sense....can't wait to try some of this in 2 weeks

Can't wait! Although to be totally honest, the souvenir cone sippers don't seem worth getting...

Not sure where the "fruit foam" idea came from, but it's an interesting concept... let's just say. I thought to myself, "So this is how Mater drinks his iced tea, huh?".

Didn't take any pictures of anything, of course, as was requested.

The only thing I ate was the Chicken Verde Cone. But it was freakin' delicious. But definitely snack sized. The bread cone/bowl it's in was definitely reminescent of a bagel dog batter. I only ate half the cone. I've never been a big fan of bagel dogs. But the chicken verde...I'd DEFINITELY eat that again.

All that we tried from the Cozy Cones were the Popcone which were just ok and the Pomegranite Taste-in drink. It is offered with vodka, but don't go for it. You could get a better buzz off of Robitussin.

To me what really works here is how perfectly they captured the Route 66, novelty hotel feel. Everything from the outlandish cones to the adorable lawn ornaments and cone fountain. Then there is Sally's office. There are all sorts of little surprises there.

Sharp eyed visitors can spot a Toy Story reference.

I had the chili "cone" queso tonight, but wasn't a huge fan. The most annoying part was that there were probably about 20 people in front of me and I waited an hour. Yeah, I waited longer for some chili than to ride RSR! Plus they ran out of straws for the large cone cup.

The rest of my group really enjoyed Flo's though, especially the apple-cheddar pie!

Okay so I love the little buzz that lifts off the cone... what a great Toy Story reference... also I really wish they sold those alarm clocks shaped like a cone with the car popping out of the garage from the movie... that would be a great merch item!

Ate at Flo's tonight....GREAT food! Definitely a favorite in the resort now. The music is wonderful and the inside is decorated beautifully. So 50's/60's diner, I loved it! The food was great and just so...comforting lol really great experience I would highly recommend.

Didn't get to try any of the Cozy Cones but I LOVED the theming in the area. Definitely had that Route 66 kitsch.

Ate at Flo's and loved it! Had the turkey dinner which had a roll and came with two sides. I chose pasta salad and a roasted corn medley, which was roasted corn, red bell peppers, onions, and was nicely seasoned. Very different from anything I've had at the resort, filling, and fairly priced. The desserts were great, especially the apple-cheddar pie, which is a pie crust lining a ramekin, with a slice of cheese pushed in on top of the crust, then filled with apple pie filling. Most unique, and very home-made tasting. Also sampled a friend's chocolate mud cake, which was very good, but a bit on the small side.

We would have had a snack at the Cozy Cone Motel, but the lines were huge for most of the time we were there.

I tried the sweet and spicy popcorn without knowing what to expect and it was rather tasty, I certainly would get that again.

One thing I truly enjoyed was when the lights turn on in the Radiator Springs area. My sister and I were sitting outside of Flo's enjoying our popcorn when all of a sudden the song "Life Could Be A Dream" came on at the moment all the lights were going on. It almost seemed magical and was a great moment for me.

When do the food service locations close? Seems like at least one should be open late since this will likely be a very busy part of the park at night.

We ate at Flo's yesterday. My daughter had the Tater Tot dish which was vegetarian and she loved it. She had it with the pasta salad and she said that was good too. She got the special tea ($3.50!) and said it was too sweet, but she usually doesn't sweeten her tea. She didn't finish it. I had the BBQ pork with corn and mashed potatoes and it was delicious. We split the apple/cheddar pie and it was really good. Later on there no line at all for the pretzel cone and we had those and the frozen apple drink. We both liked the drink, we went back for another one since we didn't want to split it after tasting it.
