I have yet to visit the new carsland so my question is ther room for another attraction to be added to Carsland maybe a c od d ranked attraction, or maybe one base dsomething from the second flick

Agreed. But I do think the edge goes to Indy B/C of the que, other than that their pretty close in terms of quality and emersiveness. both awesome attractions!!Originally Posted by G24T

Last visited two weeks ago and the sheriff AA wasn't working the last two days of our visit. For those who have visited recently, has RSR been at full strength?
As of 7/22, Sheriff is working again but the two tractors are still not tipping over. I can't confirm whether or not the white walls are working again since I only got to see Ramone's side.
I'm going for several days the week after next and am wondering if RSR is still breaking down repeatedly during the day?
Is it more likely to be running properly first thing in the morning?

RSR doesn't brake down because of a technical issue as often as one might think. It is often times a result of a situation beyond Disney's control, so it really just depends on luck.
In my opinion, it's always best to get there as early as possible. Chances are you'll be fine.

So here's my question: We're headed down in October...is RSR really worth it? Is it truly an exciting ride? Everyone wants it to be a hit, but I don't want to drink the Disney kool-aide...I want it to be great, but is it? It just seems slow to me from what I've seen...any thoughts?

To me, it is the most amazing thing DLR has had since Indiana Jones. It may seem slow to some who love rollercoasters and thrill rides, but I think the speed is just fine. I highly suggest the single rider line for it is way shorter than the regular line. Hope this answers your question.

I loved the ride. I'm more of a thrill person as well but I was overall very happy with the ride. Also I do not really care much for the cars movies as the other Pixar movies.
The area is just beautiful. Couldn't stop looking at the mountains. The dark ride portion is very well done. I got very excited not only seeing some of the animatronics but some of them move towards you or you following them which I though was cool too.
The race portion of the ride is a lot of fun. The speed doesn't really feel too fast, but racing past the rocks was just as exciting for me. The beginning and the last hill go pretty fast, always got butterflies on that last hill. I think if they too increase the speed even more not only would it make the racing part shorter, but it's at the perfect speed now to where you can take in your surroundings as you race which I feel is good.
Just got back from a week at the Disneyland Resort.
Cars Land rocks. Great all around.
Here's my tip for Radiator Springs Racers: you can get on the single rider line at about 9 am and it's only 30 minutes long. Did that multiple times and it worked every day. No need to get up at 6:30 am and fight a mob or stand in a long line.
And they've fixed the tractor tipping--it appears they've done this by making the second Mater AA (that backs into view from behind the bushes) stationary and already "backed up" and in position. Otherwise everything else appeared to be functioning on the ride.
I don't know if anyone has mentioned this elsewhere, but the effect when you go through Ramone's Body Shop is pretty miraculous. That enormous screen on your right where Ramone and Flo are is not just a flat projection. It has depth, and your perspective view of the cars changes as you drive past them. I have no idea how they do this, but it's something I haven't seen before.
Radiator Springs Racers is a great addition to the resort.
It's interesting how Cars Land and Buena Vista Street raise the level of the entire park by making the other areas (like Golden State, Condor Flats, and Paradise Pier) much more successful as unique entities. Except for Hollywoodland, the whole park has really made an amazing turnaround.

I'm sure I'm just missing this info somewhere. Can someone give us some tips on riding RSR? We will be there in October. Our plan is to get there at opening and head straight for the FP. I imagine our ride time will be in the late morning or early afternoon. How are we able to ride at night on the same day? Wait thru the very long lines? Is there a way to get another FP that will get us on the ride in the evening?
