Last we heard, Mickey and Friends will be used as the location where folks can camp out for the grand opening. It is expected to be very crowded.

But the biggest crowds may actually come on Sunday the 17th (mainly because of the annual passholder block out schedule).

    Thanks! / Questions?

Love that first post with the map, MasterGracey!
I'm looking forward to getting some tips over the summer that will make me feel like a pro when we visit.
So far, my tip #1: pick up a Fastpass for Radiator Springs Racers outside of "It's Tough to Be a Bug."
#2: Ride this during the day and again at night.

Don't the Fastpasses for Tokyo's Pooh have a long line? Will that be the case here?

If I get a FP, then ride it, then return, will there still be FPs being distributed for evening rides,
OR if I want a FP to ride it at night, should I not be at the very front of the FP line. I imagine this will vary from day to day.

What flavor popcorns are best loved by Micechatters?
Do we have any flavors unique to Anaheim?

How does everyone here feel about the lack of entertainment in Cars Land? Maybe it's a gap they'll fill in, later?

I have not been yet, but I think in general, the live entertainment around DLR is enormously important to the overall Guest Experience, in my mind. The attention to that element of the experience is a good deal of what sets DLR apart from any other amusement/theme park. I don't want to be the bug on the windshield, but I hope they figure something out in terms of entertainment, aside from shopping and watching RSR.

Not sure if this option will be viable as much when it goes live, but the Single Rider line was a big time saver during the previews. Because each car will seat six people (three to a row), there's always at least one single rider in each car.

    How to target Cars Land

Here is how I will be handling it on Saturday
    get there by 745
    bee line for Racers FP
Grab the FP then ride Mater
then grab another FP for Racers and ride Luigi's Tires
    Use 1st FP for Racers
    Single Rider the rest
Then use 2nd FP for Racers when its time
and when I leave the Land get another FP for Racers for later in the night

We shall see how that goes

I'm surprised there hasn't been any mention about the best "attraction" in Carsland: Mater's Petting Zoo!

I squealed like a child when I saw the petting zoo. Then after I petted the little baby tracker I giggled and did little girly claps. I thought it was so cute. I doubt anyone will be as excitable as I was but I enjoyed it.

Has anyone noticed that the custodial trashcans in Cars Land have license plates on them? I wish I had taken a picture.
