If I were the director, I would also ask for a new arrangement of the music.

Ever seen a 30's or 40's musical? Rent some on Netflix, you'll get it.

I agree the beat can be toned down a bit.

Musicals are energetic, but not to the point where you wonder if the actor(s) drank 10 cans of Red Bull right before the performance. Unless a particular character is meant to be abnormally energetic.

Their choreography is a bit off, too. Not too bad, but it seems less like Roaring 20s-era dancing and more...HSM-esque? Or something you might see in the modern-themed parades.

It's not a bad start to the News Boys entertainment, but I suggest they brush up on their dancing:

Today's photo update "A Closer Look at Buena Vista Street" was one of the best photo updates I've ever seen on Miceage. Thank you, Andy Castro, and all Miceage photographers who are giving me something to look forward to!

(I had a technical challenge I failed to overcome when I tried to post this comment after the update.)

The Red Car Newsboys best part is when Mickey Mouse shows up the music improves and so does the feel of the show.

Besides PhiPhi, I'm not digging the entertainment. I did however miss the Pixar Play Parade, but I'm not sure how well it fits into the surrounding area. DJ's and Drive is pretty cheap, too. There's so much more they could've done with that show. But, at least the new entertainment is theme and not something totally out of the ordinary!
