Sad Women's Sizing on Disney Apparel is THE WORST!

Why oh why does the Women's clothing from Disney have such awful sizing? It is unlike any other clothing I have ever purchased so I don't think I am deluding myself. I normally wear medium tops but whenever I try on something at Disney I end up thinking, "What the heck is this, a medium in the juniors section?" I know you ladies out there know what I am talking about.

Same thing happened to my little sister! She always wears a medium, this weekend she bought a medium shirt in Cars Land and it's too small. She wants to return it, but it looks like we'll be back in 33 days. Ha. They may accept the return anyways.

I have the opposite end of this problem. Usually the smalls are too big or too long, but I have noticed some of the jackets run smaller.
...After a YEAR I finally was able to figure out my password again! I'm baaack! Woohoo!(:

They have definitely switched to juniors sizing! This is mostly just the Disney Parks merchandise though - I find the Disney Store merch to run a bit large.

I remember the shirts being a bit snug.

I don't know. I just but some cheepy tshirts from the Disney Store at the mall. I still think they run small. I'll be line drying these!

Gosh this has been bugging me for a while.

I have the same problem, in fact I usually buy the men's shirts because they just fit better. This is what happens when they make the clothes in other countries. Our version of a medium differs greatly from other countries version of a medium!

I've noticed this. I'm normally a medium or a large, but I will usually need an extra-large in Disney clothes. If it gets much worse, it won't fit at all.

I think that the sizes are crazy! I always buy my husband tshirts from the parks and make him wear them on our vacas but I don't own many tops of my own... because they don't fit right! Lots of hoodies but no t's or tanks. I bought 2 recently.. one from DL and one from the disney store... both large tanks.. but tshirts.. they don't run like juniors they run like kids imo. They are short in length and tight! And never wash them! they shrink like crazy!

I don't like most Disney Apparel; their tacky and way over-priced! But we STILL buy em'!

You would think for all the Moms (and our corresponding Mom-bodies) going to Disneyland that Disney would have a little sympathy...

I agree, and I've noticed this a number of places. The style these days is very thin fabric with a very snug fit, not just Disney, but pretty much everywhere. It's both the cut and the fabric, and it shows everything! I can't WAIT for that to go out of style.

I don't mind women wearing tight clothing.

I wouldn't consider myself overly modest, but I just don't see a need to let it all hang out. Plus the really tight shirts are uncomfortable (for me).
