L.E.D lighting I love it!
As of 3:30 pm today they were not running with guests.
But, the walls are down and they said that they will be open tomorrow.
There were a lot of people working on it, but it was not running with passengers.

How were the seats? Are taller people going to have issues.
^3 seats a bobsled and....maybe might depend on how tall

Update:
Here's a video that I recorded last night during the soft opening of Matterhorn in HD. I stood in line at 7:30 and by the time I got to ride it, it had already turn to night. I knew I should stand in the single rider line.

We saw a CM riding it today, and the guys knees were up to his chest. I didn't see how tall he was when he got off, but he was crunched for sure.Originally Posted by disneyland55

Matterhorn was always the one ride where I had NO legroom issues. Now? ........ I'm worried it'll be too cramped and
I won't really be able to ride (this is one of my favorite attractions).

I'm 6'1 and I fit into Space mountain at WDW just fine.
I'm very disappointed with these changes, the new bobsled design just kills it for me. Not only that but they had all this time to refurb the show and did absolutely nothing to enhance it. I do like the paint job however, it makes the mountain look a lot more realistic.
Positives:
New seat belt
Updated look
Negatives:
Tall people can't ride
Short children can't ride
Couples and families can't ride together
Decreased fun factor and memories for all ages
Neutral:
Capacity stays relatively the same

I can't wait to ride the Matterhorn..maybe everyone will be over at Cars Land and give us space to ride this!
