    Anyone else looking forward too...

    OFF SEASON!!!!

This holiday season has been CRAZY! Personally, I dont like crowds. I have been avoiding Disneyland a bit due to the bad crowding and long lines. Now, from what I remember, the off season is VERY near! It makes me giddy with anticipation of going to the park on a week day and having no lines on a lot of the E-tickets. WHOO HOO!!! I hope TDA gives the advertising a rest for a little. Maybe brake in the new minimum wage workers before scaring them off with the next crush of people. I can only hope, but I doubt it. They typically start offering the big discounts. California discounds or 2fers around now.

So, anyone else with me in looking forward to an almost dead day at Disneyland?

Also, whats the "sweet spot" for the off season? Like Monday mid Feb?

Yes, please. I'm hoping for a very long and intensely "off" off season. Although I know the crowds are still going to be ridiculous.

I was at DL this past November the week before turkey day on a weds, the longest time was 20 minutes, and thatwas for space. A friend of mine has gone in feb mid week in a rain storm and everything was walk on.

during normal times, anytime it is not a school vacation/holiday mid week the crowds will be very low, but the year of the 50th its going to be a hit and miss. might be crowded every day but will still be less crowded mid week than weekends. just got a new pas smyself so ill be seeing you all there!!! will be using vacation days whenever i accrue new ones, but for now weekends are it!

Looking forward to Teacher In School Days...Woohoo! Best time to go with the Wolfette. Last time we went in November Space was only 5 minutes! Got one coming on January 25th, anyone interested in joining the two of us??
Mom, remember, it's not what a person is like on the outside that counts,
it's what they are like in their HEART!

Re: Anyone else looking forward too...

Has anyone been the week after Thanksgiving weekend?? We'd love to go the Monday after Thanksgiving through the following Friday next year. We want the Christmas decorations, but none of the Christmas crowds. For Thanksgiving, we want to go to San Diego. Relax before hitting Disneyland.

We went the first week in March in 2000....it rained one day we were there and it was great. There were literally no people anywhere. In the afternoon, we went on Pirates, and there were NO people in there. No one in our boat. No one in the boats in front of us and behind us. It was the coolest ride on Pirates ever. The whole week was like that...not that extreme, but the park was empty. Our private Disneyland. Lots of ride closures, though, I think. Price you pay for no crowds.

Yes! I'm going this weekend and I know it is going to be a mob scene! I am much more excited about going in two weeks when it will be nice and quiet there!
