    Red Face Dancin with Disney

I was the very first person into the dancin with Disney show in stage 17
on the scale of one to ten it would be a 4 because very very low theming and looks like it was a last minute idea
They had 20 something year olds dancing with the little ones then latter the chaters came out they also used some old chairs from electronica I think
i took some video but will take some time to upload because I use ios

They reused old props from electronica, disney channel rocks and various shows. It was a last minute idea but it also fills a what would of been an empty building this summer with some cool characters and nice air condition. This obviously isn't an anchor to get people into the parks but a cool last minute addition. I like it for what it is. Rather have a stage of characters then an empty one.

Can you have your pictures taken with the characters there or is it just a show. I'm going tomorrow and I would like to get some character pics with them?

I guarantee you it was done for two reasons:

    1) Soak up crowds
    2) Not to have an embarrassingly large show building sit empty during the big DCA relaunch

It seems like a cute, novel concept. Isn't there supposed to be trivia contests as well?

it was alright, I was expecting a more old time feel. Seemed fun for the kids.

    Re: Dancin with Disney

I was one of the very first ones to enter this new concept also. And yes, it's a pretty low quality event, but still a nice idea and great for kids. Plus, when it's HOT outside this summer, it'll be a very nice escape. And yes, you can get photos taken with the characters...so that's a nice perk too. Especially because some of these characters are vintage and hardly ever seen in the Parks. I thought the 20-something dancers did their best to entertain. My only negative comment would be about the DJ himself. He lacked luster and charisma, and sounded to mechanical to me. He needed to be more entertaining and full of pep! Oh yeah, and the music he was playing, altho very good, it should have been louder.

I enjoyed it for what it was, and will go back quite often, I'm sure!
