Mini trip report.

So we were there last Thursday and Friday. Got to DLR just as the fireworks for Cars land opening exploded as we were driving into Hilton. I almost crashed from being startled. Took cab from hotel and got to Disneyland just as Disneyland's fireworks went off as we walked down main street, went on star tours, 20 min wait, walked to Fantasmic and had perfect spot on POTC bridge. Very light crowds. It was a week night so makes sense. I have to say, the Grad night people were loud, but actually very well behaved. Went on Haunted Mansion and once the ride started, everyone was quiet. Much better than other times (where someone can't help but recite the lines along with the Ghost Host). Much better crowd than Leap Year event.

Cars land was great for Media day. 20 minute line for RCR. Walk on for Tower of Terror. Buena Vista street is great. I'll try and post pics when I get a chance but there are already so many great ones from everyone I don't have anything people haven't seen. Luigis Tires was fun but I agree the wait was too long. I found having a big backpack was helpful to steer, just used it as balast and threw it on the side we wanted to go and we just leaned. Also, Racer 5 IPA was nice touch for beer selection.

All I've seen available are either Sierra Nevada's Torpedo or Karl Strauss' Tower 10.
