Media Day Preview!

My boyfriend and I knew we wanted to ride Radiator Springs first, but we didn't want to rush there as I wanted to experience Buena Vista street and kind of take it all in. We ambled down the street at a nice pace.

saw these dudes, not sure who they are but they worked there I think.

Radiator springs racers:
We were in luck, only a 20 minute wait! The line moved pretty smoothly, and we had such a great time on the ride, I definitely recommend it.


But I'd wait - it got up to a 7 hour wait the next day and an hour or two long line for fastpass.

Anywho -


Wait times
were just about nothing...here's some pictures I took of the emptiness while everyone was at Carsland lol.




Went on almost every ride



Got some lovely character photos




Saw the Ellis Island Boys ( who I recommend by the way they were excellent)


Celebrated 2.5 years together at the Blue Bayou for lunch



Saw the Pixar Play Parade


The Matterhorn sure does look nice


Mad T Party was pretty awesome

Great report! Glad to see you guys make the most of the short lines! I was in a Cars Land mode so I didn't do much else because I KNEW that this was my chance to do it over and over!

thanks! I wish I had gotten to do more than just RSR one time, but I just didn't feel like waiting in lines all day,

If you were there on the media day, all you needed was the single rider line and you were set. I've clocked close to 15 rides now.

awwww man! Didn't know that. I could have gone on it a lot more in that case, lucky that you got to!

Yeah it was pretty amazing... my friends and I waited one time in the normal standby queue for like 35 mins and then did single rider like 3 other times and waited less than 5 mins each time!

Things have certainly flip-flopped. Disneyland is now the "second gate" park there.
