    Oswald's Odyssey : Additional Carthay Circle Menus

    Master Gracey has done a great job outlining the Carthay restaurant and its Summer Lunch and Dinner Menu's in a Sticky thread about Buena Vista Street food, and I do not want to duplicate what he already has done. Instead below you will find the Summer Dessert Menu and Lounge Menu that are offered in the restaurant as well as some modifications I have noticed.

    Possible Modifications
    "World of Color" Offer

    Now I do not know if this will change back to how it is originally described in MasterGracey's thread but this is how the offer was explained to us. There are a limited amount of Reserved Seating for WOC. To have the opportunity to receive a WOC ticket you must order a Starter and an Entrée or Entrée and Desert per person. Carthay will begin by distributing tickets for the first WOC show, however if they run out, they will begin distributing tickets to the second WOC show (even if it is still the lunch service). We were told by Carthay CM's that although not always probable, it is possible for them to run out of WOC tickets part way through dinner service.

    The Carthay Circle Restaurant at Disney California Adventure celebrates opening night at the movies, capturing the excitement and glamour of a spectacular motion picture world premiere party during the Golden Age of Hollywood.

    The original Carthay Circle Theatre was one of the world's premier "picture palaces" and played a significant role in Disney history, hosting the gala premier of Walt Disney's first feature-length animated film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, on December 21, 1937. The event attracted a galaxy of Hollywood starts to it's blue carpet and established the Walt Disney Studios as one of the top movie studios in Tinseltown.

    Other Disney milestones at the Carthay Circle Theatre included the very first Silly Symphony, "Skeleton Dance," which debuted August 22, 1929, and the West Coast premier of Fantasia on January 29, 1941, heard in Fantasound, an innovative stereophonic sound system created for the film and installed in only 14 theaters around the country.
