The Fox and the Hound has been my favorite Disney movie since it came out in the early 80s. Weird since it's actually a very sad story when you really think about it. Just not sure how well it could translate into a dark ride though. Excuse me I'm going to go have a good cry now.

Maybe like a walkthrough like Sleeping Beauty but a ride...I don't see it drawing too many people...on good day's Pooh brings in 20 min waits

While I would love to see a Fox and the Hound dark ride I don't think it would be a big enough pull to bring more people to Critter Country. CC needs something big but I just don't know what exactly.

Is this a mistake, or a very clever play on words? Either way, it made me laugh.

I think a ride on Fox and Hound would be a nice compromise, since it's based on a movie, but hardly anyone in the world is even aware of the film in the first place.

Re: Fox & The Hound Ride In Critter Country?

Fox and the Hound sounds like a good idea. If CC was expanded, then they could build a Bambi dark ride and a Fox and the Hound dark ride. They could also replace Pooh with something else. I don't know what, maybe replace it with the Fox and the Hound.

Doppio, you made me laugh! Also, if your location is true, I know where Zzyzx Road is!

Great idea, but there is no room for any significant addition. I could only picture them making an expanded "Critter Character" meet-and-greet. Being a former Cast Member, the backstage area of Critter Country is very small, and used regularly for seasonal project storage. The Christmas Tree is constructed, stored, and decorated in this backstage area every year.

It was a play on words. I actually wrote era and realized that the other way was more appropriate and changed it.
"You can cut me off from the civilized world. You can incarcerate me with two moronic cellmates. You can torture me with your thrice daily swill, but you cannot break the spirit of a Winchester. My voice shall be heard from this wilderness and I shall be delivered from this fetid and festering sewer."
