For first, it's a tie between POTC and Splash Mountain. I love the smell of the former and everything else about it...and Splash, I just adore the soundtrack and all the cute fuzzy AAs, and the ride is just so much fun! I love it when the log goes into that 5 second roller-coaster portion! hehe.

Tying for second would be HM/Indy/BTMR. I also <3 that goat

The Mansion, nothing else really comes close. The Haunted Mansion embodies all that is Disney. It has wonderful innovative effects, an A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ voice cast, and the feeling of imagination flowing through it all the way. Paul Frees (voice of the Ghost Host) and Eleanor Audley (voice of Madame Leota) are my two favorite voice actors. Plus it incorporates terror with laughter, much like Walt's first, "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs".

A second would be Indy with POTC following close behind. (Splash Mountain is up there too!) I've always loved Snow WHite's Scary Adventures though. It was my childhood favorite.

My favorite yesterland attraction is the Sleeping Beauty Castle walkthrough, another childhood favorite.

Thumbs up Re: Whats your Favorite ride?

    INDIANA JONES ADVENTURE!
The most elaborate and visually stunning attraction ever made.

The Classic Pirates (prior to any Depp-filled overlay) would be a distant second.

    Re: Whats your Favorite ride?

It's a tie between Indy and Splash for me. I love the emersive feeling of both attractions. Splash is gorgeous to look at and incredibly inventive considering the use of tons of pre-existing AAs and getting a story from a couple 3 minute clips from a banned film. I love the color, the music, the story, and the giant finale scene.

Indy also has a look all to it's own. New technology that makes the ride wonderfully realistic, original story, awesome f/x, and that main chamber is just stunning. I also love the fact the que is indoors (A/C) and the ride has such a high capacity (12 people per car loading two cars at a time).

Everytime I go to DL I switch back and forth between these being my fave ride.

    Re: Whats your Favorite ride?

I love Space Mountain. The only ride I'll wait in a long, long line for.

But depending on crowds, temperature, and my mood there are probably a dozen or so that could be my favorite. If it's packed at nighttime, sometimes a nice quick spin on King Arthur's Carousel is just what I need.

    Re: Whats your Favorite ride?

My favorite attraction is It's a Small World. There's something so simple and joyful about it. Plus, Mary Blair is one of my biggest artistic inspirations. Her work is all so 2-dimensional but full of LIFE.

After that, it's the Enchanted Tiki Room. The kitsch of racist dialogue, an audio-anamatronic show, and TIKI.

Sometimes I feel like I should have been born in the 30s, so I could have lived through it all instead of looking back and feeling nostalgic for something I never had.

Pirates. It all starts innocent enough... Oh man, that ride was the BEST RIDE IN THE WORLD when it opened, nothing came close. After the PC "upgrades", it got a bit worse because who ever did it ruined the forced perspective and composition of several scenes, but it's still a pretty dang good ride.

    Re: Whats your Favorite ride?

I hate to say it but Pirates is number one in my book too.

I think though for the most part I enjoy attractions, more than rides. Example: 50 First Years, The Disneyland Gallery and so on.

At DCA where I've spent most of my time has been in the Animation Room but if we are talking about rides I'll say ToT.
