What a great trip report! Best I've read. Totally reminds me of the trips my three friends and I would take to Disneyland shortly after graduating high school wayyy back in the 90s. I need to go find those old photos ...
I saw him in the Emporium and his hands were reaching out like he wanted to be hugged and taken home. I took him in my arms and I fell in love instantly. SF is quite an interesting place. Never a dull moment, that's for dang sure! I don't go over there as much as I'd like but when I do, it's always a lot of fun. I love the wharf and Pier 39. Good food, good shops, and good salt water taffy!
I'm not really the biggest stuffed animal person but on my next park trip, I'm gonna fold for that plush!! Haha no this place NEVER has a dull moment. I see the craziest stuff almost every time I'm in the city. I love the wharf too even though it's touristy, I like the area nearest Ghirardelli Square where Hyde Street Pier is. Just got some taffy last time I was down there in the most amazing flavors!! There were barrels and barrels of the best flavors ever. Oh and btw I had no idea where your hometown was located until I sorta drove past on my way to San Ramon. Went to the Alameda County fair which is the teensiest fair I've ever been to!
I just have to say, I've read this TR soooo many times because it makes me feel like I'm there and I'm so impatient/excited for my trip in september! This makes me really want to go with a group of friends though, which I haven't gotten to do yet but hopefully someday I will
oh my god! i am in this picture! my partner and i are the only people not doing anything special for the picture! hahah! thats crazy! and i totally looked tried to google your eyeball hands!!!!
