In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face, is that in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is more meaningful than our criticism designating it so.
I would love to see the MSEP back on Main Street. Loved it since I saw it when I was a little kid. Many, many years ago.
Last I heard is they are trying to work aorund the legal of the fact it was retired. It may end up the Buena Vista Street Electrical Parade.

I don't think it'll fit down Hollywood with the trolley wires, will it? Besides, they'll have to get real creative if they plan on running it with WOC crowds. It would be much easier to bring it back to DL. Although it fits DCA's theme remarkably well now.
Does it really matter that it was retired? The McRib keeps coming back.

I have a feeling what's keeping dlr from having the parade is space for it which is only at dca and if brought back it would be in dca they would need to alter the heights I say build a new night time parade with similar music
Next year would make sense...since we have no major attractions coming until a few years....so my guess is that we'll get the a show in the Fantasyland theaters and the Electrical Parade sometime next year

They tried that. It was one of the biggest disasters in their history. Had decent music though. Corny original lyrics, but good music.
Its great to hear that is will finally be returning to DLR soon, any chance of that happening before september???

Ugh, can't we get a new nighttime parade? Wasn't MSEP brought back to DCA because the park was in desperate need of attendance? Wasn't MSEP moved over to WDW because that resort was in desperate need of some decent entertainment? Disneyland doesn't "need" MSEP. Let's get something new. I have faith in our Entertainment department!
And anyways, I wonder how true this rumor will turn out to be...
Or just re-imagine, the parade keep some of the more poplar floats and add some new ones..though i do agree...heck to be honest since they have two goo parks...couldn't they have two night times parades? They don't have to run at the same time but could be cool so if one leaves..we have the other one
