Re: What are some good places to eat breakfast in DL?

I usually just grab a quick bagel at the place in Grand Californian. I think it's called White Water Snacks, or something like that. Fast, cheap, and I won't get all stuffed before I go on rides.

I've heard great things about Steakhouse 55 (I am an eggs benedict connoisseur and heard theirs is quite good) and Jolly Holiday, so we are planning on trying both of those.

For a fairly sizable breakfast at a fairly decent price, go the The Tomorrowland Terrace and have their breakfast. It's fast, tasty and quite a bargain.

I like the Carnation Cafe because you can make a reservation! You can do it via phone or email now!

My husband and I eat at carnation cafe for breakfast everyday of our trip. We make advanced reservations (714-781-3463) before our trip and squeeze in a space mountain and a few buzz light years before we eat. Ask for a table looking over main street, there is nothing like enjoying your breakfast, knowing you have a full day of Disney ahead, and watching other families stream into the park skipping with excitement.

I like the Riverbelle Terrace, the Carnation Cafe, and the Plaza Inn, but I like a spot just outside the park, in Downtown Disneyland, called the Brea Bakery. It's a great place to grab a bite to eat in line waiting for the park to open.

I love River Belle Terrace. In fact, one of my favorite memories is eating there in the open air on a perfect summer morning with the strains of Swissapolka floating through the air from the Swiss Family tree house. It just isn't the same without Swissapolka. (Or is it Swisskapolka? I've seen it both ways)

The River Belle Terrace is a good spot for breakfast. They have good pancakes. I think my favorite would have to be the Steamboat, which consists of three pancakes, scrambled eggs and a choice of either bacon or sausage (I get the sausage).
    My top favorite Disneyland attractions:

    1. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
    2. Pirates of the Caribbean
    3. Splash Mountain
    4. Mad Tea Party
    5. Peter Pan's Flight
    6. Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin

I usually have breakfast at The Rainforest in Downtown Disney.

The food is ok, but I'm not really one to judge. I raise my own hogs and have chickens; it's not really fair to compare anything to farm-fresh.

The atmosphere alone makes it worthwhile though.

If you've never been there, and you enjoy being startled, ask to sit near the gorilla.

    Lol.
