Question And I thought we finally hsd the best parade....

This is a new parade in Tokyo....and I just can't believe how cool and detailed these floats are.....as much as i like the new parade...this one in my opinion puts the soundsational parade to almost shame. What do you guys think? Would you rather have this parade over soundsational?

(note mod please change hsd...to had...thank you

Well, the parade warehouse is very small. So I can't imagine how those floats could even fit. I think the parade floats have to be folded in half to fit in the Dl warehouse

wait, i dont think this parade is new. its been out since 2008? anyways I think all the parades have been produced by the same person. I do enjoy soundsational but the floats look kinda repetitive with the drums and the main floats look like cardboard cutouts but I do enjoy soundsational.

The main entrance to the ride looks like a rip-off of the Simpsons Ride. Universal should sue...

(And what does any of this have to do with a parade anyway?)

Wait... people actually like soundsational? I think POD was about 500x better.
I will agree, though, the tokyo floats are pretty darn amazing!

Tokyo Disneyland has everything better, so I'm not surprised that their new Toy Story Land makes the DCA one look like crap.

And did I just see Brer Rabbit in that parade?

Yep...and Brer Fox and Brer Bear on the other side...I don't think most people would care about the history of Song of the South over there so they can use him over Sea's in Parades and other shows

Both are referencing the (creepy) clown mouth entrance to Coney Island's Luna Park. Having trouble finding a picture, but here's the recreation in Australia:

I do like Soundsational. Some of the floats are just gorgeous!

This Tokyo parade is something else and I love that Minnie has her own float. And the Pooh float with bungee Tigger, and Lilo and Stitch! Wow! I just don't get a lot of the dancers' costumes, though. The ones at 1:29 call to mind the tree costume Johanna Mason has to wear in the Hunger Games sequel, Catching Fire. And the music is pretty bland.

Entertainment wise, Tokyo Disneyland never ceases to amaze me. I love just watching all the wonderful parades and shows that this park puts together, as they are truly stunning. I especially love how energetic and excited so many of the performers look. It really adds to the mood of the shows.

Yes the drums are a little repetative but most floats just have dancers to start a new section, soudsational has both. Also I agree that the little mermaid float may look a little like card board cut outs, but how do any of the others... I'd say the marry poppins or tangled floats are just as detailed and amazing as any of the tokyo floats.

I love soundsational I even enjoy it more then POD, I was way younger and didn't really care all that much when POD came out, plus POD just got old and wasn't great anymore every time I see Soundsational its fun, entertaining, and great to watch TDL has great floats though, I love the wow factor of them
