The freeways of La can at times(excluding the 405 through sepulveda pass which at this point we will count as always) worse. It took two hours one time to get to disneyland and i only live 30 to 40 miles away
Yeah it's real quaint when you pull up in the horsedrawn streetcar to the whirling spinning Astro Orbitor.
Ruins the theme, when I'm taking 19th Century transportation up Main Street to a European castle.... what was the argument again?
I think that's what you'd call a self-foiling argument. LOL
Anyway, yes, I know the walkway needs to be a bit bigger, but there are still some big rocks there that can be moved before they have to move a whole ride...
And honestly, if you think it gets crowded around there... ha ha ha ha. I laugh at you. Disneyland can run circles around WDW's crowd control. The entrance to Tomorrowland in WDW is worse than DL's entrance in some ways. Get your peoplemover back first. Poor guys, I'd protest too if they took away our peoplemover.
I wish they'd move the Rocket Jets back but didn't I hear the building was too lightweight to support the new Astro Orbitor attraction?
I don't know about the weight issue.....but personally, I think the bigger issue would be with Disney's "Saftey Lawyers". Theres a bigger chance someone could get hurt being so high up there. The last thing Disney needs is another law suit.
Besides, we have the musical observatron. I like the Observatron. Does it still go off every 15 minutes? If it does, then all we need to do is put some lighting effects into it and we could have a cool night light show.
i actually really like the rocks at the entrance of TL, but the Astro Orbitor needs to go, i think it looks really cool but that's waaay too small a space right there. however its true that the crowd control in WDW is pretty scary. the entrance to TL in front of Stitch is always insane. which is funny because i don't understand why that many people want to be near that heinous attraction....
ANyways, there has to be a way to re-do the PM and also some sort of rockety ride atop the station using the great theming of the Astro Orbitor, maybe they can saw some of those spinning orbs off and duct tape them back onto the old rocket jets machinery up there... i don't know....
The Observatron was basicly the old spinner of the Rocket Jets without the rockets attached to them any more. However, it doesn't move or do anything but collect dust now adays. It's probably in too horrible condition to bring back to life, and the reason the Astro Orbitor wasn't put up there back in the day, is it was a clone of DL Paris' spinner, and it was too heavy.
