Even though it was pouring the entire time, it was a wonderful parade! The Disney float was amazing and I took way too many pictures. Also, the float broke down right in front of me (corner of Delacey and Colorado) so I've got lots of great pics of the float getting hooked up. Enjoy!!

Now, the float has some trouble and the White Suiter whistles for the tow truck to come out (now remember, this truck rarely gets used!)
The characters were awesome, they were happy and smiling the whole time!
Simply the best float. It looks cool how you were looking up the street and seeing the castles...almost like Main Street.
It's funny how Disney Parks is passing right by the Gap store.
And Paul Pressler thought it was a waste of money.The parks look like they are doing a lot better than when you were around!
If he was still around, that float probablly wouldn't be cruising down the street and Disneyland's castle would probablly be painted gold.
Thank you thank you!!! I missed th parade on TV and wanted to see how the float turned out. However..it's too bad for the weather.. Too sad to see all of the performers with umbrellas on such a lovely float.
Is the float on exhibit at DLR this week?
Thanks for posting the pics. I'd like to see what the FL, Tokyo and Paris castles looked like. I wonder if the casual observer understood what all these castles represented.

The Disney Geek side of me is wondering why each umbrella wasn't themed to match the character carrying it.
That's funny about The Gap. I hadn't even noticed it until you mentioned it. Kind of Ironic.
I wish somebody could have gotten some stills of the fireworks that went off down by KTLA. That was really spectacular. Thanks for posting these pictures as they are the best I have seen yet. Thanks for sharing.

TDLFAN, I belive the float is available for viewing in pasadena on Sierra Madre street along with the other flots. Although, was just yesterday and tody and you hafta pay $7 to get in. After today, who knows what they'll do with it.
you know what, I really don't think they did. I knew what I was looking at when it passed, but otherwise...I highly doubt it. the people around me weren't so much impressed by the castles but rather the characters on it. who knows.
