I'm not so worried about the voice but I don't think anyone has the proper chin to play hook.

Plus I kind of like the maniacal things Hook and Smee can get away with because they don't speak. They once stole all our muffins at breakfast, and it wouldn't have been the same if they could talk.

They could always add a prostatic chin, like what they did with that mad hatter's nose

I agree that most human characters should be face characters. The Jafar costume is horrible.

Although this is pretty much irrelevant to Disneyland, in Tokyo and Hong Kong Disneyland, the Fairy Godmother appears as a costume character. This is mainly because it is hard to find a 50/60 year old women who is able to portray the Fairy Godmother, willing to move to the far east. Even in Disneyland Paris, the Fairy Godmother is very rarely an 'older women' even though she is still a face character there.

Agreed, if they can do merida as a face character they can do mr and mrs incredible.

Both Hook and Frollo have been face characters in the past, and both looked great. It's too bad they don't continue this. I think a lot of it has to do with having the perfect cast member whose looks match enough to warrant the effort in makeup.

If the technology they use for Mickey and the Fab Five gets more used and the cost goes down, I bet you could see a lot more Fur Characters talk with a correct voice.

But my top pick would be the Queen of Hearts, that costume is dated and I would love to interact with her!

You bring up a good point! All of the animal characters should be face characters. Instead of getting your pic with Louis the Gater from Princess and the Frog, you can get your pic with a REAL gater!
