I just uploaded one of the Great Low Light quality of the Newly Refurbished/Updated Indiana Jones Adventure Ride at Disneyland 2012. This is the only video I think on YouTube that truly capture the POV experience without the use of Night Vision that take away from the experience.

Wow.. It is officially back to being the best ride in the resort. The new lightning effect looks awesome and everything else looks like it has been freshened up.

Don't know if it has been mentioned, but Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will go under refurbishment on January 7th 2013. The work included will be
New ride vehicles (but don’t worry – they’ll still look like the trains that we know and love!)
Track replacement (but the attraction will still follow its current course)
Repainting portions of the mountain itself (Walt Disney Imagineering has once again carefully studied Bryce Canyon for inspiration)

Today I noticed a small but effective change in the Pixar Play Parade (or maybe I just never noticed for a while). The Nemo, Marlin, and Dori fish figures that are being puppeteered by the performers look better. Before, they were completely solid. But now the bodies of the fish are a more of a fabric material which make the fish look like they're actually swimming through the air. It's a small but nice change. Or again maybe I just never noticed.

They did do some work on the parade before it returned from its hiatus this past summer.

Has anyone heard anything about what show is going to be put in the Fantasyland Theater? I was just thinking since Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is marking the 75th Anniversary of its premeiere this year, it would be appropriate to bring back Snow White: An Enchanting Musical to that stage.

Please, no. That show was dreadful. Everytime I had to watch it, when Snow White would as the audience if she should take a bite of the apple, I would yell out, "Eat it!"

Fantasy Faire is starting to look very nice! It looks like there is high-quality theming. Even if it is not something that everyone wants, at least it will look nice.

Went to DL & CAP at the end of November and absolutely loved everything. We bought annual passes this year (from Hawaii but made our 2-1/2 week trip mostly Disneyland based) and we were able to do many things we haven't before. Looking forward to going back next year.
