Just a couple of notes from my visit yesterday:
–Indiana Jones looks awesome. The boulder itself worked, but the walls/ceiling were not properly reset, so they had nowhere to go. Strange considering my car was unusually far behind the one in front of me. Also, I noticed for the first time that the un-doomed false path right after the Hall of Promise changes appearance to match the door you entered. Is this a new effect or have I just ignored it before now?

-Last ride on old Big Thunder. Farewell.

-I caught 5 & Dime for the first time, and I loved it! Perfect show for BVS. Also, Fiddler, Fifer, and Practical is a beautiful little place.

-You may be surprised that Space Mountain has lost some effects since its re-launch in 2005, and I'm not just talking about the huge spinning asteroid that replaced the red-orange geosphere. They're mostly minor things like sound effects that I haven't heard since Rockin' Space Mountain (barf), but one thing that disappointed me was the strobe tunnel having so many lights out it barely even flickers anymore.

The Merchantile Store in Frontierland is (edit) being remodeled and the path to Adventureland covered.


The Monorails are now back to normal.
Gone are Manny, Mandy, and Mona Monorail.

When Fantasmic is dark and the Twain is being refurbished, will the Columbia sail till closing?

That is a good question. I've been wondering if this will happen.

I'm not positive, but the Mark Twain has lighting to walk around on it for night cruises, I don't know that the S.S. Columbia does. I know it has stage lighting for Fantasmic, but not if it has themed lighting for passenger use.

The DisneyParks blog released a video about the new Golden Horseshoe Revue show part of Limited Time Magic. I sure hope it gets extended. That Frontierland stage has been needing a show like this for a very long time.

Yes, if I recall correctly, the park was open 'til 11 and the sign said last sailing was 10:40 or something like that. I don't remember the exact numbers, but 'til closing.
