I know that some feel you shouldnt trust info from CM's.
When I was at the Haunted Mansion on New Year Eve into the New Year We were on the last ride of the night. The CM (who was a regular host at this attraction) Showed us the outside of the windows to the mansion. There is supposed to be a lighted candle passing by each window, giving the since that the Ghostly Bride is still looking for her Bridegroom to be. The CM said that it was something that was there in the 90's that hadn't been taken care of for a while.

Can someone tell me if this was already part of the Mansion pre 90's?

    Yes it was.

The attraction will be undergoing general maintenence, and yes- there WILL enhancements, on the scale of the last enhancements (floating head, flickering paintings).

    Thanks Mr Mainstreet!

And Mr Disney, I'm not sure if you know, I read somewhere that the roof would have to be removed in order to repair the glass. That is why the spider is still there. I may be wrong but that is what I recall reading.

I heard someone was decapitated on the ride while sticking their neck out near the endless hallway, hence the blood on that large poleaxe. So, they're going to replace Madam Leota's head with that of the decapitated guest.

Moral of the story: seriously keep your hands, arms, head, and other appendages inside the doom buggy at all times, lest you become part of the next refurb.

When I was there last, I was easily able to see the lines on the projection screens in the Graveyard. Perhaps they can fix that too if they have not alread. Maybe they can also turn off those exit signs.

I have seen the ghostly candle moving past the windows. I can't say when I saw it, but it was there in the past.

I heard this thought floating around before. It's a good idea to consider. Maybe add a fireplace. Or is there one in the ball room already?

No visible ghostal activity should really be in the loading area if you want to maintain the buildup to the ballroom sequence. I think we could however use a loading area that was a little more defined. I'm always so jealous when I see the pictures of the Phantom Manor's grand starcase:

I mean, that's a nice staircase. Disneyland has a staircase but you barely notice it. Yep.
