How would I get one for my two year old?
Ask a CM at a ride station?
Ask any random CM?
Go to DCA City Hall?
We leave tomorrow and I would love to get him a button from this trip, we already have "my first trip" and "its my birthday".

Never seen them before, but try Guest relations on the left of BVS
It's a little random to find a CM with the buttons. You just have to ask the CMs in Carsland. For the most part I've been asked a Carsland trivia question by the CM before they gave me a button. I have 3 buttons and have heard there is 6 or 8 different designs.
Ask a register CM at a Carsland retail location. Last week, we were given a couple at Ramone's.

"The thing that makes us different is our way of thinking, our judgement and experience acquired over the years. Giving it 'heart.' Others haven't understood the public. We developed a psychological approach to everything we do here. We seem to know when to 'tap the heart.' Others have hit the intellect. We can hit them in an emotional way. Those that appeal to the intellect only appeal to a very limited group. Let's not let the mechanics get in here and foul the whole thing." -Walt Disney
There are six buttons in total each is a different color with a different car on it. There is Pink, Yellow, Orange, Purple, Blue and Green. I got mine when carsland first opened so I am not sure how they are handing them out now.
Collecting buttons seems pretty random. We went to Ramone's and they asked us trivia questions like - Who is Lightning's sponsor in the movies? How many seconds was Lightning in the pitstop during the Piston Cup Championship? Later in the day, we saw CM's just passing them out.
If you go to eBay and search for "Cars Land Button" or "Carsland Button" you'll see full sets.

all the guest service people have them in carsland. Normally you will see them with bags or have them in there pockets. chambers of comerse and city hall don't have any. There are six the person that list colors was right however there is no orange it is red. I have collected a couple days. Normally I average 9 a day it's not hard to get a whole set. Some you do need to do trivia others just hand them out.
I was in line for Luigi's and a custodian that came through started handing them out to all the kids. My little brother and cousin got one.
The music celebration puts some motion into my ocean!
i think they just put the link for the people that wanted to see the set not to buy them
We got a full set from asking the friendly CMs at the red podiums outside of ramone's and the rs curios we had to answer "easy" trivia and the cm outside of curios gave us a few questions to answer so we could finish or set

I posted the suggestion about eBay just so the person could see what the buttons look like. But there are lots of people all over the country who will not get near Disneyland before they've given out all the buttons, and for them buying on eBay is the only way to obtain them.
