    AAA Enhanced Fastpass for 2006?

I just got an online newsletter for AAA Arizona, promoting Disneyland for January. They mention the free parking and if you stay at a Disney resort, you get a refillable soft drink mug, which you can refill up to 5 times per day in the parks. I didn't see anything on Enhanced Fastpass, though.

Does anyone know if they're bringing that benefit back. Enhanced Fastpass would pretty much be the only advantage to booking through AAA over planning the trip myself.

    Thanks!

My cousin just booked a feb 2006 trip through AAA. She got to choose either the enhanced fast pass of $150. Disney card. She took the card.

So it's a choice between the enhanced Fastpass or $150 DLR Gift Card?

Does this AAA promotion count towards WDW too? I'd love a refillable cup for when I go.

That's a good choice to have though. Either Enhanced Fastpass or $150 card? Even on a crowded day, I did all the major rides with regular fastpass. Give me the $150 to spend on food and merchandise!! Enhanced fastpass would be good for someone who's not as familiar with the parks or is only doing 1-2 days total at Disneyland, but if you're doing 3 or more days, you wouldn't even really need it.

That's $150 per person? Or per package booked?
Is $150 dependent on how many days you book?

Depending on when you go, Enhanced FP might not even be necessary.

I would guess per package, and I can check with AAA. I emailed them and they did say they do offer Enhanced Fastpass still in 2006. You have to stay at a one of the three Disney resorts to get it. And if you book in January, you get that refillable soda mug. Nice to get some extra benefits if you're going to book a package anyway.

From my understanding, you don't have to be a member to book a travel package with them. It's encouraged of course, but I doubt they would turn away business.

Small corection to Neon Cactus's post:

Yes, anyone can book travel with AAA, but in order to get the AAA benefits, such as refilable mug, gift card, or Enhanced Fastpass. You must be a AAA member. Otherwise why would anyone pay to join... OK besides the roadside service...

Re: AAA Enhanced Fastpass for 2006?

seems to be some confusion in this thread folks...

    • the "Enhanced FastPass" remains a AAA benefit
    • the "Refillable Mug" must be booked in January '06
    • The $150 DLR Gift Card is NOT combinable with a AAA booking

allows you to hold mulitple fastpasses at a time. in other words, you do not have to wait for the time on your "current" fastpass to elapse before collecting another fastpass. your AAA parkhopper allows you to collect and hold as many fastpasses as you want for the day.

Re: AAA Enhanced Fastpass for 2006?

I just booked with AAA and no one offered me the option of the FAstpass or $150. I might have taken the $150! On the otherhand, the cost of the AAA package was $200 cheaper than the price quoted to me by Disneyland.com so I gues it's kind of like getting both.

I have to say the South Jersey AAA was kind of clueless about Disneyland packages since they get so few bookings. She was trying to book me for WDW and I had to educate HER on the enhanced Fastpass. Go figure!

It allows you to effectively cut in line in front of other Disneyland guests.
