When going down the second lift hill, there is a goat to your right.
The trick is to look at it as you go down the drop. You can feel those G-forces doing their job.
You would have to turn your head to look at the goat on the way down, which is why headrests will make it hard if they did add them.
Thank you for the update AL -
Big Thunder Mountain is always a favorite of mine to Ride (even if the animatronics have been lagging for some time & the splash @ the end isn't what it used to be) ... I'm hoping this rehab makes getting ON & OFF easier (& speeds it up since the Ride can get backed up with a long queue sometimes) with minimal changes to the seating (please don't eliminate leg room a la the Matterhorn) ...
With so much maintenance & preparation for Disneyland's 60th (in 2015), I'll be taking a break from the theme park until everything is running as smoothly as your paid park admission should guarantee ....

Thunder is not EE. It is considerably less intense than EE. If you changed the BTMRR trains to the more rigid and restrained EE design, I'm thinking a lot of the thrill factor would be taken away and the ride would be boring.
Anyway, please no NextGen McPlayland ADHD interactive queue. Please.
One thing that might be nice though is if they could find a way to redo the track/train lift system so that riding in the front rows doesn't suck.
Out of curiosity, when did NextGen start meaning interactive queues? If I remember, the NextGen project was a way for an on-site Disney guests to personalize their visit by making reservations (rides/restaurants) ahead of their visit.
Al's rumor only mentions the queue is being prepped for NextGen additions. I read it as another line/path in addition to the Stand-by/Fast Pass/GAC queues.

"The thing that makes us different is our way of thinking, our judgement and experience acquired over the years. Giving it 'heart.' Others haven't understood the public. We developed a psychological approach to everything we do here. We seem to know when to 'tap the heart.' Others have hit the intellect. We can hit them in an emotional way. Those that appeal to the intellect only appeal to a very limited group. Let's not let the mechanics get in here and foul the whole thing." -Walt Disney
