We were sent over there with the message that only we would defend Disney quality.. We learnt quickly that the Japanese culture speaks to a level of quality that is hard to comprehend. They were all unbelievably skilled and willing to do the right thing.Bringing the Love since January 10, 2011

Wow! I have a faint memory of the hotel looking like this when I was a kid....
Awesome as always, OHG!
Great pics as always. I really miss the marina.
"You can cut me off from the civilized world. You can incarcerate me with two moronic cellmates. You can torture me with your thrice daily swill, but you cannot break the spirit of a Winchester. My voice shall be heard from this wilderness and I shall be delivered from this fetid and festering sewer."
Great that these are bringing back some happy memories.
The hotel I remember, and the one I miss. Thanks for posting those!
"The old man's gonna knock on the sky. Listen to the sound."
Me too. Sophisticated. It doesn't look like a giant day care center.
Thank you so much. I love your threads too.

Ahhh, the memories are flooding back. This was such a fun hotel at the time. Between the paddle boats, RC cars and boats, Atari arcade center and the pools, Dancing Waters and the waterfalls, it just was a happening place. Really was a park without being one.
We used to love to wander around the Hotel grounds! These pics bring back good memories!

Sometimes Dead Men DO Tell Tales!
I never stayed there as a kid, just remember seeing it off to the side of the what seemed like the biggest parking lot ever (at least to a 5-6 y/o). I had no idea it had all that.
