    Disney parking structure closed?

Does anyone know why the Disneyland parking structure was closed yesterday? I wasn't there, but my friend said they diverted them to another area and had to take Disney buses to Disneyland, and it was quite a wait. Just curious.

Could it have been full? I wasn't there, simply making a guess.

Might have been full..what time did you get there? Because if it was after 6, it would be full because of all the APs getting off work

Well they did try asking the parking attendants, but they were very vague! I guess it's a mystery!

I was there yesterday, got there at 10am and parked in Mickey and Friend on Mickeys level, had no issue getting in. Weird

    Re: Disney parking structure closed?

Today I arrived at 12 p.m. at the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure and we were diverted to the Simba Parking Lot, and we had to walk a long way through the Grand Californian to reach DCA. On the way, my Dad asked a hotel employee what might have been the cause of a full parking structure, and he said it could have been that there might have been a convention going on in the city. I was scared because I thought the parks were going to be packed today, but Indiana Jones was only 25 minutes, Pirates and HM were 5 minutes, and Big Thunder was 15 minutes, so it was not bad at all.

They may of been diverting traffic to other parking, to save room in M&F for later arriving APs. This tactic is used now and then when they expect a lot of late arriving grounds. This way when a big amount of cars show up, they can disperse to many parking areas and not to just the last place with room.

Those AP'ers with the low-cost annual parking pass all by themselves in their car?

Can't see why Disney didn't think this would happen when it sold annual parking passes so cheaply.
