Do the best you can. Perhaps not wearing a jacket but just shirt pants and perhaps tie will be more fitting for the day.

I am so excited for Dapper Day!! I went in February too and had an incredible time. Everyone looked so lovely and we got so many wonderful compliments from other park guests.

Myself (pictured on the left) and my friend (on the right) will be attending. We took advantage of the Dapper Day room deal so we will be at both the Dapper Derby and the drinks afterwards. I would love to meet some fellow MiceChat folks too!

The "theme" is from 20s - 50s, but the point is to dress up and have a great time. Come in a suit and enjoy!

The website also includes the Mad Men era (early 60s) which is what I am going for...

I would love to find some gloves... any ideas anyone? Also don't know if they should be cream or black. I have a brick red sheath dress with black shoes and a black wrap if it gets chilly.

You can wear contemporary clothing or whatever you prefer! It's really about dressing up and looking nice for the evening in Disneyland.

If you are wearing black shoes, etc. I would go with black gloves as well!

You can wear whatever style of clothing you want, when it comes right down to it, but the key is to wear something nice. Dress up for the evening in the park!

Sounds great I only wish I could attend. If only we had a Disneyland in London!

I'd say you have Disneyland Paris, but that's a bit far from London. Dapper Day happens on the same day for Disneyland and Disneyland Paris, and WDW is on the 8th.

I went last year, but it just happened to be Dapper Day and we were not dressed up. I would love to go and dress up this year, but can't but I might in the spring.

By the way BroadSword, I LOVE that your kids dressed up too! I am thinking of doing that with my kids in the spring!

So very excited that Dapper Day is Friday! I am basically doing the last bits and bobs on my dresses.... just wish that sewing wasn't so labor intensive. LOL!

While I have no idea how to know who is on MC and who isn't, I hope you all have a wonderful time! See you in The Park!
