Question Early December trip: information and thoughts?

    Hi there,

I have never been to Disneyland at Christmas time and was toying with the idea of going around Dec. 8th-12th. Is this a good time to go? Are the crowds fairly moderate? What's the weather like? And, what would be the best place to stay during this time? I'm trying to do this by flying from PDX and want to make it as cheap as possible so I have money for things inside the park.

It's busy on the weekend but moderate during the week, not a bad way to experience it when crowds get better as you go.

It's cool, but maybe cold. Long pants, light jackets. Check the weather in case you need heavier clothing or rain wear.

To save money stay offsite. Across the street from the parks on Harbor Blvd. are many motels within a 10 minute walk of the gates. They are basic motels. Anaheim Plaza Inn is the low price of the bunch.
