    Only an APer would....

What are little things that possibly only an Annual Passholder would do....such as:

Enter the park to ride one ride, or watch one show (Have you done it?)
Sit on a bench and read in the park
Drop by the park to grab something to eat
Run in to buy a piece of merchandise

So I suppose my question is...Finish this sentence:
You know you are an Annual Passholder when.....

I guess you might know you are an APer if you are able to buy some of these awesome pins:

How many AP pins can an APer buy? And what might I be able to trade to acquire one of these cool pins? LOL.

Only an APer would tell a CM how to do his/her job.

Only an APer would complain to guest relations to get something for free.

Only an APer would spend less than 12 hours in the parks.

Only an APer would do all of their Christmas shopping at the parks.

When my wife and I were in college, we'd often head to the park just to watch Fantasmic. We're in north San Diego county, so it was always just about an hour away.

We'd leave after our last class of the day, and usually get up there around 5PM. We'd throw a small blanket on the ground, have a deck of cards, and just sit there until showtime. Then we'd head home.

Many AP'ers go just for dinner or a show. This last Sunday I went for rope drop and a cinnamon roll at Jolly Holiday.

You know you are an Annual Passholder when you:

pick up trash in the park

read a book on tom sawyers island

    know multiple CM's by name

recognized other APer's who go more then you do

ask a CM "are you new?"

word on the trash thing. I do this a lot myself. In fact the other day my baby's mama saw some trash on the ground outside our apartment and was all bitter and angry, and was about to walk past it. I said "you'd pick it up if we were at Disneyland. Why can't you pick it up outside your home!"

I've actually done that before. I drove down from the valley after work just to get a birthday present for my son. I stopped off for some pretzel bites at Wetzel's at Downtown Disney (for some reason this location tastes better than all the others) and then drove home.

There are all kinds of rude degenerate lowlifes. This is not just limited to pass holders.

    I've done this several times.

All these things make me wish I was an AP holder, and I did live closer to DL.

Especially when I'm craving a Dole Whip on a hot day and the nearest one is 400 miles away.

Alas, although I have been an AP holder, I didn't live close enough to Disneyland to some of the listed things on this thread, like riding a single ride or visiting the park merely to enjoy dinner. However, I have brought books and read them inside the park. On one trip to DLR, my dad and I spent nearly an hour in the lobby of the Grand Californian. I read The Scarlet Letter, while he relaxed, enoying the beautiful piano music and the crackling of the fire and the fantastic ambiance of the hotel.

For a while I was considering attending CSU Fullerton, and then I can assure you, I would have been at Disneyland all the time without riding attractions. Just going there enjoying the atmosphere, de-stress from classes, and maybe bringing a textbook to study in some secluded area of the park.

I've actually found that APers are much less likely to complain at City Hall and expect something free in return than the "I paid several thousand dollars for my trip so you should give me a free churro for stubbing my toe" people.

I once bragged that I could stop at Disneyland, use my pass to go to the bathroom, then leave. I've never done that. I have soloed a few times, not getting on any attractions, just enjoying the time being at Disneyland.

This exercise would probably take about 45 minutes. Not sure it's worth it

    Only an APer would....

....stop in to take a power-walk around the perimeter of the park.

(I do this often. DLR is my gym. )

    AP'er since 2004. Yup.....I'm one of THEM.
