Who else hates seeing this during a parade?

I know its an old picture. But I just hate seeing a parade float being pulled by one of these things. Anyone else feel this way. What would you do? I would just not include the float in the parade, if its broken its broken. Or for example use the Tonka Truck that carries Lot-O-Huggin Bear in PPP. Or something you know?

Generally my understanding is that this is only done if the float breaks down mid-parade, or if it needs to make its way back to the parade building from Main Street.

Unfortunately they were terribly common in my day. Float reliability seems to have improved vastly since the mid-90s.

I have never seen this. I know the Soundsational parade got stalled, I think last week sometime? For like half an hour? I remember seeing it on Twitter.

Yes, they don't intentially run broken floats being towed.

Crittercountry(girl or lover) posted a TR the other day and I think it was Goofy's float that broke down in the Hub. Just seems to be a coincidence that is was right before this thread was posted.

At Disney California Adventure they use "Tugger".
Tugger looks better than the DL version.

I saw this tug with Soundsational in April. A float was being pulled from the beginning of the parade at Small World, and it looked so tacky. Then again the parade itself isn't very good and kind of tacky, so I saw it once and will not watch it again.

I would certainly be unfortunate if it happened when one sees the parade. I've been quite fortunate to see a Disneyland parade without a 'puller'.

From my understanding I thought they only bring these out if a float stalls during the show or stuck at the main street parade area and needs to be brought back to the parade building in the back. I haven't seen one of these for soundsational, but I have seen in a video the chip & dale/ Goofy drum mini float thing get stuck I have to find the video but if I do I'll post it.

It almost looks themed to what it is pulling, looks like barresl and half barrels from a warehouse.

I could see those tuggers getting some see-through window decals of Pixar Car eyes on the front and becoming less obvious in how out of place they are.

Ahh I thought this thread was going to be about people that put their kids on their shoulders during a parade blocking the group of people behind them when you were there first. But yea, thumbs down on that ghetto looking truck thing too
