I happen to be one those people who wears all black almost all the time. But I wear slacks and button up collared shirts. So I get mistaken for employees at nearly every mall or grocery store I go to. When my wife and I honeymooned in Disneyland we both wore Happily Ever after buttons. That's seemed to seal the deal for people who just assumed the button was a name tag. I was treated like and employee no less than 14 times during our honeymoon.

I don't get mistaken for anybody, but I do get stopped a lot for my eyes. I get people who will see them from a far and then walk towards me saying "you have such pretty eyes!" it kinda scares me how noticeable they are, like cat eyes !?!?

Hahaha you do look like someone from a Mexican telenovela! I can't remember now exactly who though...

And yes, us people in Mexico do have light skin (a LOT of us). I don't know why this tends to surprise so many people (I live in Mexico but go to school in the U.S. and people have often popped the question "If I'm from Mexico, why am I white?" LOL :P)...

years ago, back when the American Pie movies had just started coming out (the first and second one) my then-bf (now DH) and a bunch of friends went to Disney... and I got stopped dozens of times by people thinking I was Tara Reid... even so much as an employee working in DTD following me out of a store and asking for my autograph!

When I wear my Disneyland nametag, which I had made during the 50th, I am often mistaken for a castmember.

lol i'd have to go digging for pictures of that trip, as there is no resemblance whatsoever now. alas, gone are the days when i was young, slim and blonde...

funny thing was, i didn't get it at all when i wasn't wearing sunglasses, so i don't know if people thought i was trying to be incogneito or what... either way, sure gave me an ego boost at the time!

When I was younger, many people thought I really looked like Dustin Hoffman.
And while at Disneyland, I've had strangers approach me and tell me that I look like a relative or neighbor.

Not at Disneyland but one time when I was in Chicago somebody thought I was Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher.

I get Keifer Sutherland all the time and "You look very familiar". I had a lady one time swear I was her grandson and wanted to know why I wasn't speaking to her. I notice people looking at me all the time waiting in line. I can never figure out why and then I remember.
It got so bad I had to put on 50lbs extra so people could tell the differance.

Not me, but last week a kid of about 3 mistook my husband for 'someone' while we were standing in line for Nemo. The little guy was holding on to his grammy's leg while she was talking to someone. He let go without looking up, and ran over to my husband and just grabbed him around the legs & hugged him as tight as he could. A split second later, grammy realized he was gone and at the same time the little guy looked up & realized that my DH was NOT whoever it was he thought he was. Both grammy & tyke had the same 'OMG' look on their faces (as did my DH). We all just laughed (well, the grownups did) & little guy just ran back to grammy.
