Notice how the original Matterhorn bobsleds actually encouraged riding with your hands OUTSIDE the vehicle. There are some famous clips around of the attraction on opening day with Walt himself riding with his hands outside the vehicle.
Thanks Bob, nice find.
What in the world are they looking at in picture 4? Balloons flying away, a plane, the sky? As far as I know, there's nothing particularly interesting in the air just south of the Opera House.
If I'm not mistaken, it looks like they're looking up at the Disneyland railroad, most likely at the train.
I probably am mistaken, though.
Fear of the unknown.
They are afraid of new ideas.
They are loaded with prejudices, not based upon any reality, but based on… if something is new, I reject it immediately because it’s frightening to me. What they do instead is just stay with the familiar. You know, to me, the most beautiful things in all the universe, are the most mysterious.
