Also excited for this movie!!! wish I could go see the characters!!!
I was hoping they'd take over Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters. I haven't seen the movie yet of course, but it sounds like it would make much more sense to have the ride be themed to something that's set in the video game world. You could have it be that it's a company testing "go into a video game" technology, and that would be the Tomorrowland tie-in. (Though of course, some people might say that would fit "TRON" better. I wonder if there will be a TRON reference in the movie.)

There is no known ride coming. It's a new Meet and Greet location to promote the movie.
At Disneyland park, the arcade world of “Wreck-It Ralph” comes to life within the Tomorrowland Starcade. When Ralph and Vanellope are there, you’ll have an opportunity to meet them at the portal to “Sugar Rush” and can even play a round on the classic arcade game “Fix-It Felix, Jr.”
Look for each of these experiences to open this November, and be sure to catch “Wreck-It Ralph” in theaters November 2 in 3D!
I think I was a little unclear in my post. What I meant by "the ride" was that it would make more sense for Astro Blasters to be themed to a video game-themed movie instead of the toy Buzz Lightyear, since the idea of Astro Blasters seems to be to make you feel like you're in a video game. But I was just speculating about the future. I know that all they're doing right now is a meet and greet.

Maybe it's just wishful thinking but last week I was in line for Ghost Galaxy and saw about ten to twelve classic arcade machines on the second floor of the starcade half of which were turned on, they were also organized into two rows.
I looked for any sign of the meet & greet backdrop but didn't see anything. Then again it's not like any construction walls have gone up on the first floor either. Hmmm.
Many Bothans died to bring you these fastpasses.
I think the best way to use the space when they're done with this is.....make the upper area into Flynns Arcade, have some old games, and some cool prizes and then a small area used for meet in greets where Tron or Ralph come out of the "data" world and into our world
Ralph is arriving at the Starcade earlier than previously announced: This Friday.

My voice shall be heard from this wilderness and I shall be delivered from this fetid and festering sewer."
