They've already done this! Remy is found in one of the restaurants.I also agree that it doesn't belong in DCA. This would be better to maybe integrate something into France's world showcase in Epcot at WDW. Either that or into Fantasyland in either Disneyland or WDW.
It's in Disneyland Paris Resort.Where exactly is "Walt Disney Studios Park"? Kinda hard to put a whole land in a park that, as far as I know, doesn't even exist anywhere around DLR, let-alone DCA.
I'd expect a clone for France in Epcot, that park needs more rides in World Showcase, and a mild dark ride would be a nice addition.
It's the Disney Hollywood Studios park at Disneyland Paris.
"You can cut me off from the civilized world. You can incarcerate me with two moronic cellmates. You can torture me with your thrice daily swill, but you cannot break the spirit of a Winchester. My voice shall be heard from this wilderness and I shall be delivered from this fetid and festering sewer."
This is like third or fourth BLATANTLY non-California themed ride proposed on these boards in my recent memory. Am I the only one who takes this California theme a little more seriously after this summer's additions.
I mean a ride that takes place in PARIS... C'MON!!!
And really with the French themed restaurants fitting into DCA/Pacific Wharf? You know what else we have in California... Italian restaurants, Brazilian immigrants, bugs and air. The park is about ICONIC California, not literally things that exist in the state.
Disneyland Wooooh!
"You see- Everybody's got a laughin' place, trouble is most folks won't take the time to go look for it."
I'd agree that a restaurant would be more fitting for Ratatouille than a ride. Sounds like a good thing to throw into Downtown, though, as I don't really see where it would fit into DLR or DCA theming-wise (not to mention space...).
Guys, this ride is currently being built in PARIS, in their second park. Has nothing to do with DCA or even USA![]()
If they ever were to build a dark ride of the sort in DCA, at least theme it to Remy becoming a successful chef in Hollywood or something, lol.
Broadway/Touring Shows that I've Seen: Peter Pan, The Lion King, Wicked (twice), Avenue Q, Young Frankenstein, Les Miserables, Shrek the Musical, The Producers, The Book of Mormon (twice), Matilda, Once, and Kinky Boots.
I'm personally getting kinda tired of Pixar messing around with the entire California theming of the park. The irony is that Carsland is the only Pixar franchise that comes remotely close to fitting the park's theme (TSMM a close second). Everything else Pixar in this park is just way off the map of the California theme. Why call it California Adventure anymore when you can call it Disney's Messy Array of Themes Adventure?
Toonaspie: I have Asperger's. I like cartoons. Toonaspie!
