Was The Little Mermaid queue overbuilt?

But at least this queue is story-intensive and lets the guest actively experience the world of The Little Mermaid, even more so than the ride itself. The rockwork, the water features, the props, the characters, all of the details that surround you and make you feel like you've stepped into the story of TLM. It really enhances the attraction, while the queue in DCA just takes up lots of space without adding to the atmosphere or story of the ride.

A short line doesn't mean it's not popular. It has a very high capacity.

I know it has a high capacity. But that capacity is rarely used. I go the DCA at least once a week! Every time I walk by its almost always a walk on situation. The ride isn't that popular. It gets slightly busier on the weekend but thats it.
